Bangladeshi girls in the World Cup for the first time

The ICC Women’s World Cup qualifier was underway in Harare, Zimbabwe. The Zimbabwe-Pakistan, United States-Thailand match started in the qualifiers today as per the pre-arranged schedule but the West Indies-Sri Lanka match could not be started as one of the support staff of the Sri Lankan women’s team proved positive in the Corona Test.

The Women’s World Cup will be held in New Zealand from March 4 to April 3, 2022. Australia, England, India, South Africa, New Zealand (hosts), Pakistan, West Indies and Bangladesh will compete for the title.
